😎 Vibe Coding News

The most important developments in the Vibe Coding ecosystem.

How to use Agent Runners on Netlify

There are a lot of exciting changes happening at Netlify lately. The company has evolved beyond its JamStack roots and now positions itself as a leading force in the AX and AI ecosystem.

At last week’s Deploy event, Netlify introduced a major update with the release of AI workflows that bring powerful coding agents directly into your projects, with zero setup required.

The new Agent Runners 🤖 let developers run Claude Code, Codex, or Gemini straight from the Netlify Dashboard, complete with full production context 🤯. Additionally, the AI Gateway (beta) allows teams to connect to any AI model without managing API keys, with usage automatically tracked against Netlify credits.

Towards the AI Cloud: Our Series F

Vercel just hit a major milestone with a $300 million Series F, valuing the company at $9.3 billion.

They’re going all in on AI-powered development, evolving from a frontend hosting platform into a full AI Cloud built for agent-driven apps and intelligent workflows.

The new AI SDK gives developers access to over 60 AI models through a single, unified interface. Meanwhile, Vercel Agent (currently in public beta) can review codebases, suggest fixes, and even validate changes automatically in sandbox environments.

Bolt.new V2 Is Here: The Future of Building

Bolt just launched Bolt v2, leveling up Vibe Coding 😎 with built-in AI agents and full infrastructure support.

Bolt v2 solves common pain points like endless error loops and scaling headaches, letting developers focus on building instead of debugging.

Key features:

  • 🛠 Autonomous debugging: 98 % fewer error loops.
  • 🚀 Massive scale: Build 1,000× bigger projects without breaking things.
  • 🤖 AI agents integrated: Switch between leading AI models without leaving Bolt.
  • 🌐 Full backend included: Hosting, databases, authentication, payments, and SEO all auto-managed.
  • 🔒 Security & compliance: Built-in audits and auto-fixes.

Teams and collaboration:
Bolt v2 supports GitHub syncing, shared workspaces, project forking, and custom design systems, perfect for solo founders or full product teams.

Introducing Claude Sonnet 4.5

Anthropic has released Claude Sonnet 4.5, their most powerful AI model to date, designed for complex, real-world applications like coding, agent-based tasks, and computer interaction.

Key Features:

  • Extended Autonomy: Operates autonomously for over 30 hours, compared to seven hours in Claude Opus 4.
  • 💻 Enhanced Coding Abilities: Supports checkpoints, code execution, and file creation (spreadsheets, slides, documents) directly within the conversation.
  • 🖥 Improved Computer Interaction: Tops the OSWorld benchmark at 61.4%, excelling in real-world computer tasks.
  • 🧮 Advanced Reasoning & Math: Outperforms previous models in reasoning and mathematical evaluations.
  • 🛡 Safety & Alignment: Most “aligned” model yet, with improved safety measures and consistent goal-following.

Introducing Lovable Cloud and AI

Lovable has launched Lovable Cloud and Lovable AI, transforming how software is built by enabling users to create full-stack, AI-native applications through simple prompts.

☁️ Lovable Cloud - Backend Setup in One Prompt

Lovable Cloud is an integrated backend for Lovable apps, allowing users to build applications that:

  • Save data
  • Enable user sign-ups and logins
  • Connect securely with other services

All of this is achieved without the need for external dashboards or configuration screens. Everything operates seamlessly within the Lovable project.

🤖 Lovable AI - Add AI Functionality to Your App

Lovable AI allows users to integrate AI features into their applications simply by requesting them. Whether it's generating avatars, summarizing customer conversations, or developing personalized fitness plans, Lovable AI handles the complexity.

OpenAI took the stage for DevDay 2025, unveiling a fresh wave of updates focused on making ChatGPT more useful, more connected, and more autonomous.

The biggest reveal? Apps in ChatGPT, powered by a new Apps SDK that lets developers create mini-apps users can run directly inside ChatGPT. Imagine using Figma, Spotify, or Slack without ever leaving the chat window.

Next up, AgentKit, a no-code toolkit for building and deploying custom AI agents. With it, teams can design agents that handle workflows, integrate APIs, and even act on behalf of users. It’s a clear push toward making ChatGPT a true operating system for AI agents.

OpenAI also announced a lineup of new models:

  • 🧠 GPT-5 Pro — a faster, more capable reasoning model designed for production use.
  • 🎥 Sora 2 — OpenAI’s next-gen video model with real-time editing and physics-accurate simulation.
  • 🔊 New Voice Model — offering expressive, natural speech with fine-grained emotional control.

The overall vibe of the event was steady evolution over shock value. The updates doubled down on existing strengths, powerful models, seamless integration, and developer tools rather than dropping an entirely new paradigm.

Still, DevDay 2025 showed how OpenAI is building a complete ecosystem, models, infrastructure, and tools that turn ChatGPT into a central hub for work, creativity, and automation.

Vibe Coding is creating a new kind of role, the Vibe Coding Cleanup Specialist, a coder who turns vibe-coded apps into clean, readable, and secure codebases. You can already spot it in LinkedIn and Twitter bios.

📺 Videos Worth Watching

These are must-watch videos from the world of AI and the Vibe Coding space.

Software is Eating Labor

In this talk from the 2025 a16z LP Summit, a16z General Partner Alex Rampell walks through the journey from filing cabinets to databases, explains how SaaS pricing shifted from seats to outcomes, and dives into how AI agents are set to turbocharge the last 70 years of software evolution.

The Future of Software Creation with Replit CEO Amjad Masad

Amjad Masad, co-founder and CEO of Replit (now valued at $3B after a $250M Series C), has spent nearly a decade making programming accessible to everyone. With AI on the rise, that dream is closer than ever.

In his talk at AI Startup School on June 17, 2025, Amjad takes us from mainframes to personal computers to a future where AI agents can whip up software on demand. He breaks down why traditional software might soon be nearly worthless, and what that means for how companies are built and how work actually gets done.
